(Author's note: although the following three poems do not relate, directly, to LFN, they were posted on the Story Boards and inspired by conversations with LFN fanfic authors.)

Well, they can dance
If they want to-
They can shake
Their furry behinds;
But, if they don't dance
The Hamster Dance,
Then they're no pets of mine.
Oh, some cats like to cha-cha
And many dogs
Think mambo's fine;
Birds will tweet
And tap their feet
(Doing better than fish and turtles-
Which have some serious hurdles
When it comes to
Getting down with you).
But-for fun-loving furballs-
Only one step
Curls their whiskers
And makes them dance in a line:
It's the Hamster Dance.
Can your hamsters dance?
Do they shimmy and prance?
It's the Hamster Dance.
