"Part Two" by Norma

Norma had slipped into the kitchen. She just couldn’t take the sound of Catsma moaning on the couch anymore. Lord, she felt like a voyeur. She’d hate to live in an apartment next to that one! Norma knew from experience, having had a hooker in the apartment next door to her before she abruptly moved from her last apartment, that nothing turned off (or was that on? she never remembered which) dinner guests more than the sounds of moaning, screaming and pounding resonating through the wall. Can we say ‘fake it big time?’ I digress, sorry.

Norma was standing there with a cup of coffee in her hand (black of course, she was a purist) and in her other hand she was holding a set of rosary beads (scratch that, not that pure) and in her other hand she had a copy of her story - “A Christmas Moment in Time.” She was frantically trying to stuff it down Lorraine’s garbage disposal. Catsma walked into the kitchen and could hear Norma loudly muttering (over the sounds of pizza crusts from the night before and paper being chewed up & Lorraine yelling about her garbage disposal not being able to handle staples) -

“cripes, I hope he doesn’t find out I killed him!!! It was a weak moment. I just wanted to give him a little piece (oops) make that peace. He was so tortured and the LFN writers just never let him have a happy moment! I mean even zzoo had a psychotic following him around half his adult life trying to off him. How could I have known that the writers on the board would find ways to make him smile and laugh and get involved in all that human passion and lust stuff.”

More and more chapters were prefaced with “R” than ever before. ‘chelle had four in one story! Thank God he was a man of great....... stamina. He’d seen more action in the last few months (and *wink* we’re not talking missions here girls) than most guys see in a lifetime. So all in all it made perfect sense that he would drop in on Lorraine’s dinner party to thank all the round robin board writers for, if nothing else, improving his love life. (he still shivered at the memory of ‘feeding the monster’ one night, all night) author’s note - norma apologizes here for not listing names & specifics, but I have the world’s worst memory and didn’t want to get things mixed-up - but you all know who you are and M’s very grateful for the care & attention you give him in your more amorous chapters *grin*

He was so grateful to Kate for letting him know about the dinner party. He had been so attentive to everyone, even the lurkers. He’d given Holly a great big hug, held her face and kissed her soundly and wished her well in the future and told her that he admired her for her strength. What a guy! Everyone had ~sighed~ when he so quickly agreed to go after Enjouč. Imagine her embarrassment when he found her at home, holed up in her bedroom, the remote tightly clenched in her fingers watching “J’en Suis.” He blushed, realizing that she was watching his beautiful body in the shower. But he knew he had to bring her back. So much depended on it. Life had not been the same since he had left Time Out. Zzoo, norma and Jane had promised to consider giving him directions if he brought Enjouč back. So he gently took the remote out of her hand and led her towards his waiting car. The others would be so glad to see her.

Zzoo was the first to hear the car pull up into the driveway. Since she had spent that month on his lap she had become attuned to his presence. She looked out the window and with a sigh of relief saw him open the passenger door and help Enjouč out of the car. Both were smiling, he had given her an idea for her next story. One she’d love to write and one he’d love to experience. They walked up the front walk and he rang the bell......
