"Aren't you the cutest couple!" The six and half foot tall man in tight leather and chains beamed at them. Adding insult to injury he actually reached over and pinched his cheek before leading them to a table near the crowded dance floor. He felt the arm around his waist tremble and without turning his head he muttered, "Laugh and you die." Across the room Ted choked on his drink at the sight. His partner helpfully slapped him on the back, "Christ, did you see that?" he laughed. "I hope someone got that on a surveillance image." "Good thing he's not wearing a comset," Ian replied, "You'd be dead meat." Birkoff glanced around the room. He was usually stuck in the van and didn't get into places like this. Of course, he couldn't quite recall the last time they'd had a mission in a place like this. Michael leaned back, sipping a drink. "Do you see him?" "Not on this side of the room." "He was supposed to be here by now, maybe he's on the other side." "It's so crowded I can't see across." "We'll have to dance over there." "I don't think so." Knowing there was no choice. ~~~~~~~~~~ Gail glanced over at Nikita as laughter erupted over the van speakers. "Those boys are having way too much fun." She said, picking out Ian and Ted's voices, as well as what sounded like Birkoff's and even Walter's, who was playing a bartender. "What's up guys?" Nikita asked "They're dancing." Ted replied. She and Gail grinned at each other, "Say that again?" she asked "They're dancing." "Who's leading?" Gail wondered, causing Nikita to erupt into giggles. Sobering somewhat she switched to 'B' channel, "Any sign of him, Michael?" "Not yet." He turned, giving his partner a clear view across to the area near the bar. "He's at the bar. Green shirt, drinking a martini. He's alone." "Walter," Michael reported, "Green shirt, martini." "Shall I pick him up?" "No, he'd put up a fight. He needs to leave voluntarily." "Do you want to wait until he leaves?" "Have Ted pick him up." They went back to their table and were able to see Ted approach the target, "Team two, Be ready to pick up the target out side the front door. He'll be with Ted." They watched as Ted struck up a conversation with the green shirt, "You're sure this is the guy?" Michael asked "I'm sure, I haven't seen him for almost fifteen years but he hasn't changed much." "Good thing you've seen him. No one else could ID him." Michael smiled slightly as Ted and the green shirt left the bar, "Team two, they're on their way." "Got him Michael." Nikita reported a few moments later. "They've got him. All teams in." Standing he shrugged into his coat while his partner dropped some bills on the table. "Will you do the interrogation?" He asked as they left the club. "No, we'll let Madeline do it." Operations replied.
