Goodbye Jurgen by

Heart Troubles by Katherine Gilbert ==== Alternative Universe

Heaven by Shrift

Set during Michael's early years in Section, this NC17-rated story is described by its author as both "a warped, dark piece" and "probably my favorite LFN story that I've written to date."

Jurgen, Michael's overly demanding 'trainer from hell,' intentionally forces him into a mission role he knows Michael will find repugnant. When Michael achieves early closure in securing the target, Jurgen deliberately delays sending in the retrieval team, although an anxious Walter keeps urging him to do so. Even if Michael comes out of this mission physically unscathed, Walter wonders if he will ever be the same. (Reviewed by EllenM)

Hit the Stage Dancing by Cynaera

Well, there really isn't any dancing, and I didn't come across the mention of a stage. But then the title of this delightful NC17 romp was never meant to be taken literally. As the story begins, Michael is uncomfortably in attendance at a soiree to which he has been coerced, by a woman of Operations' acquaintance. At the first honorable moment, he makes his excuses and escapes the party, into a waiting limousine he mistakenly thinks Operations had ordered. Who awaits him in that limousine, where they go and what they do there, will make you want to hit the stage, dancing, yourself. (Reviewed by EllenM)

Honor and Obey by Lorraine

Hot Air by Shrift ==== Humor

When the heat goes up in Section, the HEAT goes up. Rising temperatures cause a more-than-normal Michael fixation that strains even his stoic nature. Amusing 'feverish' action - section style. (Reviewed by ranma=>)

Ice On Fire by Wild Wahine ==== AU

A tip of my fedora to Dash Hammett and his Effie Perrine, who was Sam Spade's secretary. She never seemed like a "rattle-brained angel" to me, and so, I tried to imagine a Maltese Falcon-ish story for Nikita (and Michael). This is my homage to Mister Hammett, whose descriptions and terse action hold up to this day. (Summary by Wild Wahine)

Influenced by Lorraine Slash and extreme sexual situations warning

In yet another attempt to play God with Michael’s psyche, Madeline gives him a mind-altering drug meant to control his emotions and focus his love attention on Dr. Brian Whicker, rather than Nikita. The drug works too well, and Michael becomes obsessed with Brian to the point of excluding Nikita and everyone else from his attention. Brian discovers what Madeline has done and, by taking a dangerous chance with his own life, demands that Madeline change Michael back. Madeline is forced to make the change…..or is she?
