Darkened sky and silver moon
     reigns from dusk to dawn
     Brilliant Blue and glorious warmth
     rules the heavens until night

     But oh what a time when evening melding has begun
     the vision of a sultry moon chasing away the sun

     Vibrant colors mixing
     becoming united in this cycle
     Only for a fleeting moment together
     They experience the world they own

     With a sigh....a simple touch
     separated they become

     the midnight laird rules from his seat
     never forgetting her caress
     Tasks there are, to be performed
     within the darkness that is his domain
     Closure obtained, impatient he sits
     preparing for her return

     The wait has ended the dark one knows
     light is seeping in
     Transformation is a double edged sword
     Burned by her passion and lulled by her beauty
     he relinquishes his throne

     colors are meshing...dark blue - lighter she whispers....
     navy perhaps - lighter still...
     azure radiates forth when finally he concedes
     Happiness and new day starts
     radiance spreads forth in darkness' stead

     Warmth and Compassion fall from above
     the challenges are set before her
     Her special charm has a place
     needed all the same

     But oh what a time when melding is upon us
     the heat and chill, the colors and thrills
     One moment is a lifetime

     Dark becomes Light and Light becomes Dark
     understanding their need for each other
     Two sides of a coin, separation impossible
     but to the world two entities on their own

     Sunrise shall come,
     Sunset shall fall,
     please see it for what it is...
     hearts united, souls inter-twined

     Love found a way...
     forever together in the sultry moon and the brilliant sun
