Nikita finds that it's easy to forget that her honeymoon is still a job, that is until the profile changes, and she finds herself part of the group to be kidnapped while Michael remains behind to run the mission. The Stuttgart branch of Hell's Angels MC is in bed with a Red Cell faction, October 16 Movement, and holding chemist Rom Montgomery in their compound. Michael and Nikita are sent in undercover to the compound as Jinx La Chance and his old lady Nikki. When Michael trades his suit for leather, Nikita wonders if she'll be able to focus. But the reality of life at the compound hits the moment they arrive, and she discovers that there are complications with Montgomery's extraction. (Reviewed by Lorelei)

When Nikita is half drowned on a mission, she hallucinates about life as an 18th century pirate named Kit Blank. Starting in Tripoli, Kit is disguising herself as a boy and dreaming of going to sea. There she meet the French Navy Officer Michel Samuelle, and against their better judgment fall in love. Kit refuses his offer to be his mistress. Instead, she and her Uncle Walter sign on with an English ship, and eventually Kit becomes a pirate captain, with Jean Lafitte's fleet. When she encounters a very married Michel, the reunion is less than perfect. But when she hears that his ship was attacked and he taken hostage, she rescues him, knowing that he'll have to return to his family in France. They do meet again, but under what circumstances? Section One threw a wedding, and had Nikita remembering her childhood desire to be a bride. Nikita got to be the bride's sister, the groom had the misfortune to be the son of a chemical weapons dealer, and the guest list read like a who's who of the terrorist world. But it was Michael's role as Christophe, the oh-so flamboyant wedding planner that threw Nikita for a loop. (Reviewed by Lorelei)

The mission sent them into a civil war zone, a mine killed the rest of the team and destroyed their transport. It isn't until Nikita and Michael reach a farm house that she discovers he has been injured. The woman there takes care of his wounds, and later tells Nikita of her husband, Misha. He was a practical man who'd been in the war and lost a wife. He had no pretty words or flowers for her, but he loved her none the less. (Reviewed by Lorelei)

Nikita wonders about the idea of payback in the larger sense, because just when she and Michael had begun a life together, they've been separated. A still Gelmanized Nikita reflects that spy life isn't all glamour and excitement. In fact, there are days of endless waiting and watching. To help break up the boredom, the operatives play Not So Trivial Pursuit, and this time Michael asks to join. Ben Kruger comes up with the questions, and the stakes can be simple or brutal. Michael challenges Nikita on a sports question - the forfeit is three kiss when and where he wants them. She loses, and has to deal with the trepidation and anticipation of when they will happen. The first is to her injured wrist the next day, the second to her cheek the day after that. Nikita finds herself waiting for the 'big' kiss, and that's the one which is a

Her guard duty at Michael's has ended. Nikita has bronchitis and broken bones, but Michael is back. Once she's recovered, she's waiting, watching and hoping that Michael will notice. She hopes for a friendship, but knows she'll also always hope for more, even if she shouldn't. Nikita's not sure, but Michael's determined to sway her to his way of thinking, and he convinces Nikita to have dinner at his loft. When she arrives, she finds the man she sees as perfect has a flood in his laundry area, and the dinner is ruined. Nikita helps him fix his washing machine - he apologizes, saying he'd wanted the evening to be perfect for her. They find that sometimes less than perfect is magic. (Reviewed by Lorelei)

She knows she is under surveillance, and so she concocts an elaborate escape plan in order to go to Michael's loft. She 'breaks out' of her apartment and uses a window to get into Michael's. She finds him in the bath, and immediately starts to have second thoughts about what she's done. It's up to Michael to draw her out, and then set a few things straight with her as to how he feels about their forced separation. (Reviewed by Lorelei)

Nikita found a love letter under the table in the briefing room. She had no idea who the real author or intended recipient were, so she kept it - and fantasized that it was written by Michael for her. After the Angela and Marc debacle, she and Michael hadn't spoken much, but after their time at the farmhouse things changed. This time, Nikita knew how to read between the lines, and didn't buy that they were leaving Section for good. In spite of the fact that it was a mission, Nikita enjoyed the time they were able to spend together at his cabin. But what happens when the mission is over? (Reviewed by Lorelei)

Nikita now knows who wrote that letter she'd found. Operations and Madeline have forced them to separate, and this has Michael putting pen to paper and leaving Nikita notes every day. She is working at her grandfather's fruit stand near the University. There she meets a handsome young student, and they strike up a few conversations while she is working. When he brings his friend Rene along Nikita instinctually dislikes him, and worries about Michel's involvement with the group. When she next sees him, she tries to explain to him that there are ways other than Rene's to bring about change. Kidnapped, and forced to help Abby infiltrate Section by her Red Cell nemesis, Nikita finds herself hurt by the fact that it is not obvious to those whom she knows best that there is an impostor in their midst. French is lining up David Fanning for a robbery, but there's a lot more to French's plans than meets the eye. Nikita's not sure what to make of Michael's actions during the mission against Philo. She has four days of downtime, and during a run in the park, while thinking of Michael, she collides with someone and they both wind up in the duck pond. Of course, the person she runs into is Michael. Because his loft is closer, he insists that they go there to dry off. Nikita is surprised to find Michael in a talkative mood, or as talkative as he can be, about his childhood, Adam, and his chess playing in the park. Will Michael's new openness last? But when explosives go off early on a mission, Nikita lets it slip that Walter hasn't been in top form. When they return to Section, Birkoff tells her that Walter is in Med Lab after having collapsed. When Michael gets wind of it, he confronts Nikita about not coming forward with what she knew about Walter. Can he make Nikita understand that it's not always a good thing to withhold information? Michael experienced 'difficulties' during his last valentine assignment, and when he turns up ill, Nikita remembers that his target mentioned her son had chicken pox - and Michael has contracted them. When he chases the Section nurse out of his loft, Madeline sends Nikita in to make sure he's following doctor's orders. There, she finds out about Juliet, a Jay who like the Glemanized Nikita, has injured wings. Nikita wonders why it is that Michael has become involved with people from outside Section. She goes with him to St. Anthony's orphanage, for a birthday party, and she marvels at how the children flock to him. When Sasha, a young boy from Moscow Michael had brought to St. Anthony's, runs away, Michael enlists Nikita's help. Nikita's seeing more of the real Michael, and she's not sure how to handle it.
