The Bathtub Challenge began when I was faced with the prospect of writing Michael and Nikita in a bathtub. I asked ‘chelle to write the scene and what she sent back was fabulous, but not what I had expected. That made me start to wonder about all the different variations on a theme. With ‘chelle’s encouragement, and some help from jean, I threw out the Bathtub Challenge. The rules were simple: Write a scene with Michael, Nikita and a tub and post them at Susan’s site on SB2 or the Writer’s Alternative.

The stories were posted after a set date in October 1999 and was a HUGE success! I was thrilled to read all the wonderful scene’s that grew from the challenge. The BTC is still open to anyone who wishes to participate.

All I ask is that you label your story BTC: Name of Story when you post (at Susan’s site on SB2, or the WA.) I hope you get as much enjoyment out of the BTC as I have! If you have any questions, please e-mail me at Shanola22@hotmail.com. Thanks and enjoy!
