Setting: World War II Europe--specifically France
Story: Michel Samuelle, about to take his final vows as a priest, is called home because of his father's arrest and execution at the hands of the Nazis. He meets Nikita, who is standed at a French convent. Michel, becomes the secret leader of the French underground and loses his heart to Nikita. Subplot includes a TR between Col Wolfe and Madeline, and a romance for Birkoff.
Characters: Michael, youngest son of a wealthy landowner, who is studying to become a priest; Nikita, daughter of an Aussie officer assigned to the British Embassy in Paris; Colonel Paul Wolfe, an American officer, shot down over France; Walter, an American Spec Ops operative sent in to assist the Maquis (French Underground); Madeline, an embittered member of the Maquis; Birkoff, a young ball-turret gunner on a B-17, who is shot down and trying to get back home. Adrian, Jurgen, O'Brien, Davenport, Moen, Stillman, Rene, Simone, Charles Sand and Greg Hillinger, all make appearances!
