It starts...

Blond hair. Hazel eyes. Long legs. Strong willed. Independent. The newest edition to Section One, and she was Nikita's material to mold into the perfect operative... but will she be able to handle it when she finds out who the new recruit really is?

25 November 1998

Madeline and Operations are in Madeline's office when Michael walks in.

Mich: "You sent for me?"

Made: "Yes. We have a potential recruit."

Mich: "Reason for recruitment?"

Ops: "She killed her father in cold blood and then tried to kill her mother. She pleaded guilty and that was that."

Made: "You will pick her up tonight. Take two other operatives with you."

Mich: "Nikita and Kit?"

Ops: "No. Take Jared and Jamie. She's strong."

Michael nods and leaves to get ready.

Ops: "Nikita, we feel it's time for you to take the next step and start training some of our new recruits."

He hands her a profile.

"Her name is Becky. She was sentenced to life in prison after she killed her father, and tried to kill her mother."

Nik: "When will her training start?"

Ops: "Michael, Jared, and Jamie are out now getting her. Now Nikita, she is not to be taken lightly."

Nik: "Yes sir."

Ops: "That will be all."

Nikita leaves for her quarters and starts studying the profile.

Meanwhile...

Michael, Jared, and Jamie get to the prison. They find their target and puts a hood on her head. Then they escort her out to the transvan.

Section...

Made: "Jamie, take her to one of the empty rooms."

Michael and Madeline waits for Jared, Jamie and the new recruit to leave.

Mich: "Is that all?"

Made: "No. You will have to help make sure Nikita is doing her job in training this recruit. She is to keep on track at all cost."

Mich: "Who is she?"

Made: "You will find her profile on your desk. That will be all."

As Michael begins to walk off Madeline stops him.

Made: "Michael. There are two folders on your desk, one is a copy of her original profile, the other... is the copy Nikita has. Make sure Nikita doesn't see your copy. She is not to know who this new recruit really is. Is that understood?"

Mich: "Yes."

With that he leaves. He is really curious to find out who this mysterious new recruit is.

26 November 1998

White room...

"Hello."

The new recruit jumps up with a start. She then realizes she's in a new place. She quickly becomes aware of her new surroundings. She looks at the beautiful blond hair, blue-eyed woman and decides to attack her. Before she can even touch the woman, her back is slammed against the wall and is knocked out again.

Nik: "Operations wasn't kidding about being careful with you."

Nikita bends down and picks her up and lays her back on the bed.

"Oh well. I guess I'll have to wait until you wake up again."

Nikita turns and walks out of the room right into Michael.

Nik: "Hi."

Mich: "Hello. How was your first meeting with your material?"

Nik: "Put it this way. I only said one word and now she's asleep again. She attacked me, so I knocked her out."

Mich: "Maybe next time you should give her a chance to attack you. That way you will be able to find out how strong she is?"

Nik: "Maybe. I have to go."

Mich: "Good night."

Nik: "Night!"

With that she was on her way home to do more research on her new material.

Nikita's Apartment:

After a long hot bath Nikita decides to really read Becky's profile.

PROFILE: Christesen, BJ

FULL NAME: Becky Josephine Christesen

DOB: 15 January 1980

FATHER: UNKNOWN

MOTHER: UNKNOWN

RECRUITMENT: Killed father. Attempted killing mother.

PHYSIOLOGICAL: Hot tempered. Lives to get revenge.

Mental: stable

Emotional: stable

PHYSICAL: Strong.

Others: Father was abusive. Mother was a drug addict. Never helped her. Goes by BJ. Code name is to be Serena.

Nik: "Well, there's not much to go on here. Oh well, I guess I'll have to go step by step. What fun."

~knock, knock, knock.~

Nikita looks at her door with a look of disgust.

"I'm not in the mood for company."

But she gets up anyways and opens the door.

Nik: "Michael. What are you doing here?"

Mich: "I thought you might want some company."

Nik: "Sure. Come on in."

As Michael walks in, he looks around the room as if checking for some sign that someone is there or listening. As Nikita watches him make his surveillance of the room, she smiles to herself.

Same old Michael.

Michael stops by the coffee table and looks down. He notices she's been reading BJ's profile.

I pray she never finds out who BJ really is. If she does I don't know what she'll do.

Nik: "So is this a social or professional visit?"

Mich: "I just wanted to see how you were doing?"

Nik: "I'm fine. Why?"

Mich: "No reason."

Nik: "Okay."

There's a long pause of silence between the two.

Nik: "So what can you tell me about the new recruit?"

Mich: "Nothing."

Nik: "Gosh! There has to be more to this girl than what's just in her file! It doesn't even tell me who the mother or father is!

Michael could tell how mad she was with the fact that she had no information on BJ. Unfortunately there was nothing he could do about it.

Mich: "How do you plan to approach her tomorrow?"

Nik: "I don't know."

She said it in a whining voice, like a child being put to bed before they were ready.

Mich: "Maybe I can help."

Nik: "Really? I would love that."

With Nikita smiling again, Michael felt better. That night he helped her come up with a plan on how to train BJ.

15 January 2001...

Time has gone by so fast. It's another day in Section. Birkoff is at his computer. Walter is at his work station. Operations is in his office overlooking everything. Madeline is in her office going over some profiles. Michael and Nikita are out on a mission. Everything was normal.

Later that day...

Jamie: "I am so glad that mission is over with. I could go home and sleep for a week."

Nik: "No you won't. You're going to go out partying."

Jamie: "You know it!"

Laughing as they were leaving, Michael stopped Nikita.

Mich: "Nikita."

Nikita stops and turns around to look at him.

Nik: "Yeah?"

Mich: "Do you remember what today is?"

Nik: "Yes. Why?"

Mich: "Because she left something for you at your place."

Nik: "Great. Thanks for letting me know."

Mich: "Be careful."

Nik: "Okay!"

On her way home she remembers BJ. They had become close during her training with Nikita. Even though it was for 6 months. They had become like sisters. She sends her presents every year for her birthday, and would always get some little gift back. She missed having her around, but after her accident she had to be transferred to a different branch of Section.

When she got home the phone rang.

Nik: "Hello."

Mich: "Josephine."

Nik: "On my way."

Then she hangs up the phone.

"I guess I'll find my gift later. Oh well."

With that, she's on her way back to Section.

Section...

As Nikita entered Section everything seemed normal. Actually the more she thought about it, everything seemed quiet. Her curiosity is going through the roof with trying to figure out what is going on, so she goes to her source. Birkoff.

Nik: "Hi Birkoff. What's going on?"

Birk: "Nothing."

Nik: "You mean there are no missions going out, or anything?"

Birk: "That's right."

He turns in his chair to look at her with a curious look on his face.

Birk: "Were you called in or something?"

Nikita looks over at Michael's office and see him standing outside looking at her.

Nik: "Yeah, something."

Nikita walks over to Michael. As soon as she gets near him, he turns on his heels and starts walking off.

Mich: "Follow me. You're needed in Medlab."

Nikita is following him as fast as she can without running after him.

Nik: "Michael, what's going on here? Why am I needed in Medlab?"

Mich: "One of our more valuable operatives was seriously injured and was asking for you to be there during the operation, and if there was no chance of survival during the operation, to give you something. Madeline made it very clear that she wanted you here."

Nik: "Madeline wanted me here?"

As they stopped in front of Medlab. Michael stopped her and looked her straight in the eye. This caught Nikita off guard. She was trying to figure out why Madeline would want her there.

Mich: "Nikita. I'm warning you now, this person is more than who you think they are. Brace yourself."

Nik: "Okay Michael."

As they entered Nikita's heart broke into a thousand tiny shattered pieces as she saw the operative that was asking for her.

Nik: "Oh my god. BJ."

She said in a whisper almost unheard as she saw her first trainee lying there all battered and broken. As Nikita stepped closer she could see all the bruises more clearly. By what Nikita could see there wasn't an area that wasn't bruised, or cut, or burned.

Nik: "BJ? Sweetie? Can you hear me?"

Nikita waits for an answer, but BJ doesn't reply.

Made: "She's sleeping now. She can't hear you."

Nik: "Madeline, what happened to her?"

Made: "She was captured by terrorist group and tortured for days. By what we can tell they tried everything to get her to break. Everything from seduction, to rape, to beating her, and so on, but she didn't break, not once.

Nik: "How long did they have her?"

Made: "Over 6 months."

Nikita turned her head in complete amazed, yet angered, way, as tears rolled down her face.

Nik: "Who did this?"

Made: "We have the person responsible for her injuries in the white room for interrogation."

Nik: "I want to him. Alive."

Made: "Very well. They are almost done with him."

Nik: "Fine."

As Nikita is walking out she hears BJ beginning to wake up. Nikita stops and turns back around, and goes back to the bed.

BJ: "what... what are you talking about... I don't have a sister... you must be crazy... she's here... in section... who..."

Made: "She must be dreaming. You better go now."

Nik: "You're right."

As Nikita is leaving she hears BJ finish the rest of her dream.

BJ: "What do you mean Nikita is my sister?"

Nikita stops dead in her tracks, and turns around to look at Madeline.

Nik: "What is she talking about?"

Made: "We thought it would be best if you didn't know."

Nik: "Didn't know what Madeline?"

Made: "BJ is your half sister."

Nik: "How is that possible?"

Made: "Same mother. Different fathers."

Nikita leans against the wall for support, but only to find Michael there. As she looks at Michael's face she knew.

Nik: "You knew the entire time, didn't you?"

Mich: "Yes."

Nik: "I have to kill the bastard who did this to my sister."

Nikita leaves. Madeline and Michael watch her storm out of the room.

Made: "She responded better than I thought she would to you knowing about BJ being her sister."

Then Madeline leaves. Michael takes one last look at BJ and then goes to his office.

15 January 2002

Another year has gone by. BJ made a full recover of all her injuries, both physical and emotional. Nikita tortured the man who injured BJ, and then finally shot him right between the eyes. Nikita and BJ created a new bond, the bond of sisters. Nikita forgave Michael for not telling her who BJ really was. Madeline talked Operations into letting BJ stay at Section One, for what purpose no one knows. But in the end, everyone lived happily ever after, until the next Mission.
