The problem of plagiarism has developed to such a degree regarding LFN FanFiction and blatant abuse of the Internet that it needs to be addressed. I understand that there is no legal recourse available to any FanFiction Author, however, I do believe that FanFiction, of any type, as long as for non-profit, is viewed benevolently by the copyright owners. Pleave view this message as a notice of these activities so that you, readers of LFN FanFiction, can be aware of the situation. If you run across any of these stories, incorrectly credited, archived on other sites I urge you to report the situation to the archivist so that they may deal with it.As some of you are aware, an individual has been committing plagiarism of LFN FanFiction stories. Recently, it came to our attention that this person is no longer alone in the LFN Fan Community and that plagiarists from other Fan Genre have finally crossed over.
I will not knowingly provide links to these individuals' personal web sites because I do not wish to encourage these people in any way. Nor, have I, knowingly (there are many aliases) given permission for our site to be a link on these individuals' page(s).
To my knowledge, the following stories are being claimed by these individuals, under a variety of aliases, as original work when they are, in fact, either slightly modified versions or direct copies of known LFN FanFiction.
